چکیده

We report on the internal examination of mid-infrared chalcogenide glasses using near-infrared light to reveal light-scattering defects. The technique is demonstrated imperfectly made glass rods and fiber. This simple, non-destructive enables assessment interior convenient detection regions containing defects hidden due opacity visible light. method will presence unwanted including nucleated crystals, dust, striae, bubbles. Hence, this help optimize both chemical formulations, against devitrification, process design manufacture fiber with minimized scattering
